We are excited to announce the addition of a silent auction to this year’s event. We have acquired some amazing prizes that we are sure you will want to be prepared to bid on. We will be accepting credit cards for the silent auction. Silent auction items will be displayed and bids will be taken during registration, dinner and contests. When golf begins the silent auction will be closed. We will still be doing our regular raffle with some amazing prizes. If you’ve ever participated in the glow ball event you know we always have a lot fun after the golf. This year raffle prizes will not disappoint.

Your Kambly Living Center donation goes directly for the care of our residents. Most of our residents only receive SSI benefits, those benefits do not cover the cost of their care. Your financial support makes it possible for us to continue to provide a high quality home, nutritious meals, skilled staff, daily activities and opportunities to interact in our community. Thank you for supporting our Kambly family.

Kambly Living Center has joined #GivingTuesday, a global day of giving that harnesses the collective power of individuals, communities and organizations to encourage philanthropy and to celebrate generosity worldwide. Occurring this year on November 28, #GivingTuesday is held annually on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving (in the U.S.) and the widely recognized shopping events Black Friday and Cyber Monday to kick-off the holiday giving season and inspire people to collaborate in improving their local communities and to give back in impactful ways to the charities and causes they support.
#GivingTuesday is a movement to celebrate and provide incentives to give—the 2017 campaign will be held on November 28, 2017. This effort harnesses the collective power of a unique blend of partners—nonprofits, businesses and corporations as well as families and individuals—to transform how people think about, talk about and participate in the giving season. #GivingTuesday inspires people to take collaborative action to improve their local communities, give back in better, smarter ways to the charities and causes they celebrate and help create a better world. #GivingTuesday harnesses the power of social media to create a global movement dedicated to giving around the world.

The 2017 Knocking em' Down for Kambly bowling fundraiser was a big success. What a great turnout, we filled 28 lanes at M-66 bowl with our families and friends. The residents had an awesome time bowling and from my observations so did all of the participants. Kambly Living Center; our board of directors, staff and residents, would like to thank all of our tournament sponsors, prize donors, volunteers and M-66 Bowl for all their support. This event would not be a success without your help. All proceeds ($3,700) goes directly to help support our residents.
Thank you, Eileen Casebeer, Administrator
